Spinach, being a cool season crop, is not likely to be a success in the south in summer
 
even if it germinates when planted, which leaves a few alternatives:
 
Make plantings at above 8000ft elevation where it is much cooler.
 
Grow substitutes like chard, lambs quarter, leaf beet, or tetragonia.
 
Put up a greenhouse and install enough air conditioners to keep soil and
 
air at +- 50F.
