For root crops, the barrel washer is way more productive than the batch washer. You will wash larger quantities of vegetables in less time.

Hello,

We are looking to buy a vegetable washer. We are currently looking at a batch washer from Willsie's in Ontario and a used barrel washer for sale locally. Here is the batch washer listing http://willsie.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_5&products_id=3 <http://willsie.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_5&products_id=3>

I was wondering if anyone has any advice or things to consider between the two items. From what i've read the barrel washer uses more water but that's about all I've been able to find. the used barrel washer is listed at $800

Thanks in advance,

Jen
