This is what I've been waiting to hear - I want it specifically for carrots and turnips.  Are you using pelleted carrot seed, or raw?  And, what is the magic combination of rollers needed for those two crops?  And, we're talking about the JP1 model as seen at Johnny's?  Or, is there a better source?

thanks,

Andy's comments are right on target.  I planted carrots, turnips and radishes last fall and was very happy with the outcome.  The double shoe and singulation have eliminated thinning.  The crops mature more uniformly and we harvest everything in the row at the same time.  Seed stock is more efficiently used also.  Looking forward to a full season of use.  Will still use the Earthway for peas and beans.  Tom (7b)
