Still hoping for rain, but these three days with 30-40% chance for precipitation are passing by. I think the 10 snowflakes we saw in the air after church this morning was probably it.

Would love to do RWH, but it’s illegal in Colorado. In fact we can’t even build ponds or impede the surface water flow in any way.

Just checked our well meter today and we pumped our usual July or August amount – and it’s only April.

Sorry to hear about all the problems for those of you have too much moisture.

Marcy,

Wish I could send you some rain via FedEx.  We've had nearly 8" in 10 days.  Spent last weekend sandbagging our little town against the Mississippi River.  Almost need "water-wings" for the tractor.  Beans aren't germinating at all.  Wondering how to put 12 acres under High Tunnels.

Hope you get the moisture you need via precipitation, well water or rain water harvesting-RWH.  I'm on a great RWH list serve which includes many folks from Australia and India where RWH is required.  Let me know if you'd like info on RWH.

Regards,

Mike

Seems like a lot of extremes.  Here we’re hoping for some rain or snow this weekend. We’ve had about 3/8” total - since January.
