Hi Bill...ayup...forgot to mention I live in southern Maine...abt Zone 5A depending on the winter. My house lot is in among high timber so it is not the best place to grow grapes cos I don't get many hrs of direct sunlight. I Might be better off just buying what grapes I need for jelly and jam rather then to continue to try to grow my own. FranklinClick Me!

Franklin, I don't know where you are located, but here in the south We like the muskadine grape. I find them to be disease  free. Bill In Texas

Hello Folks...where can I get purple grape vines that are not bothered by black rot? The few vines that I have now...to make jams and jelly for myself...are bothered by black rot every year...and I'm tired of spraying them for what I get off them. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me. Franklin
