Have you considered joining forces with say your local art club? I have been to markets that were produce and art booths. The advantages are that both sides will have cross-over sales; meaning that some people coming to look at art will take home some tomatoes, and some people coming for tomatoes will take home a watercolor. The other advantage is the art club will advertise the market as well - advertising you don't have to pay for!

Wow- Some great ideas so far, but surprisingly few! I'd love to hear a few more from folks with well-established, well-advertised markets. Does anyone have any experience with permanent overhead street banners? What are some of the real "bang for the buck" methods that you have employed? Again, Thanks in advance!
