Bill Shoemaker, vinegar and lemon on bindweed? While Canada thistle has a
fairly deep tap root bindweed has massive subsurface growth. It's why
pulling the vegetative growth, even if you yard up a bit of root with it, is
uneffective. Bill, are you saying that the vinegar will kill enough of the
plant to starve the deeper root systems? I was thinking of taking a small
area and covering it with 6-mill black plastic. Does that make any sense?
