Title: RE: [market-farming] market manager compensation

Hi, our "growers" market is in a town of about 8,000, and we have usually 25 vendors, mostly crafters, with live music provided by our "host band" and special guests..This is our second season, and our "organizer" is doing it currently just for the "glory"..his apples aren't ready yet, so this helps too..I like the idea of "free booth space" myself, but time will tell...enjoy the day! tracy

Subject: [market-farming] market manager compensation

Folks,

I apologize if this subject has been discussed before.  For people selling
at farmers' markets with managers, how are the market managers compensated,
if at all?  If you respond, please include the size of your market (number
of vendors and size of town).

Thanks.
