Sorry for the delay in answering! I use flats with no holes &
humidity domes. I lay down paper towels 2 layers, and sprinkle seeds
in rows, spacing just a bit, with plastic markers identifying
varieties. (I use one flat per 2 varieties to avoid mislabeling.) The
seeds and paper towels are sprayed with 1/2 strength solution of
seaweed extract and water-sprayed to very wet, but not soaking. I
repeat these layers 3-4 deep, then cover with the dome. Over the next
few days, I keep a check on them until they sprout, respraying as
necessary, maintaining a humid environment, with just enough moisture
to prevent them drying out. As soon as the seeds sprout I plant out
the most vigorous ones.
