I've done way too many tax returns over the years, and asking a cpa or lawyer
to do
bookkeeping also in tax seasin is bad for you. It'll cost too much and delay
prep. of
your return.

Tax seminars for farmers are usually provided by state extension offices, and
the IRS
publication : Tax Guide for Farmers (Publication No. 225) is free at IRS
offices, some
post offices, libraries, etc, or at www.irs.gov

Whether you or someone else does the actual return, tax knowledge is highly
economic for
year round decision making. And an educated client is always a better client
for the
cpa/lawyer.
