TWC has contributed thousands of dollars to Hoyle's political campaign over the years. And Dem legislators are worried about their fate in November, so morals go out the window in favor of cash. Hoyle gets his votes because he's spread that cash around.

Whoever is calling the shots in November gets to carve up the new congressional district(s) the state is expected to pick up. These are high stakes.

It's as simple as that.
