Thats right! This Thursday in Carrboro will be our Sixth Anniversary for Triangle InterNetWorkers!!

We will be having a donation drive for local charities and a special collection to send to soldiers in Iraq. Many have asked about what to donate, so here are some loose guidelines.

Local charities: books, records, clothing in wearable condition, and
small household items/appliances that are in good/working
shape. Please don't bring "junk"(tm) as most sites will
not accept it. Cardboard boxes might be helpful, too!

US soldiers: They could use about everything from snacks to hygine items.
(Specifically: razors, shaving cream, lotion, chap stick, beef
jerky, Gatorade powder, toothpaste, deodorant, recently
published books to read, shampoo, soap, laundry detergent.)

I have already gathered some soap, lotion, toothpaste and Gatorade powder, so feel free to fill in the gaps. If you've already bought duplicate items, bring them anyway as I'm sure they could use extras!

Here is the relevant info for our meeting in TWO DAYS!!

PARKING: Directly off of Main Street, just past Tyler's, there is one
small parking lot specifically for Tyler's -- which may be full! Next

good place to park after hours. As a last resort, you can park in the
large lots located to the side of and behind Armadillo Grille (just a
little further down Main St.) or at the city lot across S. Greensboro
Street from the Carrboro Century Center.
