Hi Folks,

I'm currently email impaired (my hard drive uttered the "click of death") so
I'm behind in reading and responding to email. Access tonight is via
Kinkos...

I love movies, and am almost non-genre specific (although movies from Tom
Clancy novels/"novels", any spy stories, any action dramas, anything intense
but not violent (not graphically violent), movies based on true events, and
foreign films are usually at the top of my list). I hate paying $7 for a
movie-- and *love* paying $1.50-- so I usually head over to the Blue Ridge
in Raleigh every couple of weeks to enjoy a movie and a deal. Movies
outside in the summer (Lumina, Raleigh Art Museum, Raleigh Little Theater
Ampitheater, the Ampitheatre at Regency are wonderful, and the Wallace
Parking Deck in Chapel Hill showed movies this summer on Thursday nights,
but I could never make it to any.) The Raleighwood is ***absolutely
wonderful***, the admission is $3.50, you can have dinner and beer or wine,
the menu is good and the prices are reasonable. The Raleighwood is also
great for Monday Night Football-- even if you hate football, you'll love it
at the Raleighwood, believe me! I actually went up there to see the Oscars
last year-- I've never watched them before-- and loved watching on the big
screen. I've never watched one episode of Survivor, but will sometime this
season, because the Raleigh shows it on Thursday nights on a 35' screen. I
also get (free) passes for advance screenings at Mission Valley in Raleigh,
which, like the Rialto and the Colony, serves alcohol. I'll send an email if
I don't plan to use them.

If any of you want to join me, please give me a call. Work is the best way
to reach me, 966-2059. If you live in Chapel Hill and want me to call you
when I'm going, I'd be glad to, just email me the best numbers (I'll try to
be on again before this Thursday), or call me at work if you want to see
something sooner than that-- like Monday Night Football!

Ciao!

Colleen
