Is this a trick question? If we do some fantasyland math:

470 CDs x 74 minutes = 34,780 minutes

If uncompressed, 773 sides or 387 cassettes.

If you got 10:1 compression from your MP3 encoding, that would need about 39
cassettes.

This assumes that all CDs are completely full (unlikely), and that song
breaks do not force leaving unused space on the ends of cassettes (also
unlikely).

Now that we have finished our time in fantasy land, why do you ask? Is there
such thing as a digital audio cassette recorder/player? How could you
transfer the data to an audio cassette, and be able to play it back, either
as music, or transfer it to another computer to decode the data as audio?

Just curious.
