We used to train all employes (many races) on how to deal with the cops,
since it was virtually guaranteed our staff was going to be approached by the
cops at least once a month; one wrong step could get our employees arrested,
even though we were operating 100% within the law, and in many cases solved a
lot of crimes for them and produced credible independent witnesses for them.
Still even the best of them got put in the clunker overnight a few times, as
our work put us and the cops on the same turf at times and some cops just
don't want witnesses to what they are doing, even if our guys were looking in
a completely different direction and had no idea they were there.... LOL.

There are some states where it is illegal to collect rainwater. If it falls
from the sky it belongs to the state. Colorado was one. They just passed
two new laws that now makes it legal to collect rainwater.

Illegal in Utah and Washington. You have to have a deed that says you own
water rights on the ground to legally collect rainwater. Some cities or
counties have exceptions in Washington.

There are some really weird laws in some states. I think Washington also
charges you for your well water. Or some parts of Washington do.
