As Frediano said, there is some slight performance gain in reducing
network traffic. Any efficiency gains, though, are usually overwhelmed
by two things:

1. Query execution time
2. Program complexity

I would suggest you reduce #2 to the extent possible. If it's more
convenient to call dbsqlexec() once with several statements, do so,
else don't. :-) Just remember to exhaust the results with a loop until
dbresults() returns NO_MORE_RESULTS.
