You're not being a pest. I'm sorry about the delay. I should thank you
for prodding me.

The build box suffered a disk failure two weeks ago, and had been
running without a backup. New disks arrived unexpectedly on Friday, and
I'm taking the opportunity to upgrade the OS and build tools. (That's
why the nightly snapshot hasn't been updated, btw.)

I will post the release ASAP. I will boot the machine in its old
configuration, because I think this is the wrong stage of a release to
introduce new build-tool variables.

Using the machine in its current (upgrading) state, I just posted RC11
as a sign of earnestness. It is based on the following build tools:

autoconf (GNU Autoconf) 2.59
automake (GNU automake) 1.9.5
ltmain.sh (GNU libtool) 1.5.14 (1.1220.2.195 2005/02/12 12:12:33)

RC11 includes Frediano's updates to RC10.

The release will be built from RC11's files, using the same build tools
we've been using for some time, as documented in INSTALLING.CVS:

autoconf (GNU Autoconf) 2.57
automake (GNU automake) 1.7.3
ltmain.sh (GNU libtool) 1.5.6 (1.1220.2.94 2004/04/10 16:27:27)
