I applied the patch, now the ./tsql -C says:
Thread safety: yes

However, the tds driver still crashes with multithread programs.

Do you know if I can test Threading support another way ?

Please apply the attached patch.

The function called by "tsql -C" relied on a compile-time #define that
we apparently don't use anymore. It's misreporting the status of
--enable-threadsafe.
