Learn new ways to garden, including edible gourmet mushrooms.

      Help build a perennial community garden with winter-hardy kiwis.

Discover how sheet mulching means less tilling, weeding and watering.

           See worm composting in action!

9:00 a.m.: Arrive and register
9:30: Welcome and Introductions
9:45: Introduction to Permaculture
10:30: Sheet mulching presentation and community garden activities
12:00: Bring your own lunch and free time
1:00: Kiwi presentation and community garden activities
2:00: Edible Mushroom presentation and hands-on inoculation practice
3:00: Worms and composting presentation
4:00: Closing

The Finger Lakes Permaculture Institute in cooperation with Cornell
Cooperative Extension of Schuyler County (EPO/EEO) invites you to a
permaculture garden party!

Permaculture is an ecological design discipline that can help land owners and
gardeners produce abundant, healthy landscapes and homes.

Admission is free and kids are welcome.
