If you were to get the minimum in a set of books to learn something of the
ancient languages without having the time to become an expert, which of the
following would you like to have in book form - and which could you do
without if you used online tools such as the unbound bible etc.

Oops -- I hadn't noticed the "Greek text" parameter of the question
and simply listed commentaries that I've find especially suggestive
for the interpretation of the letter (and I still insist on keeping
my Schmoller). So here are some amendments to my list:

Romans -- Cranfield (ICC; wrong on PISTIS CHRISTOU but still
offering the widest range of options for construing individual
passages)

1 Corinthians -- Johannes Weiss (or, lacking German, Anthony Thiselton)
