Title: Re: Epaphras
To be honest the most detailed work on Paul's co-workers is in German:

W. Ollrog, Paulus und seine Mitarbeiter: Untersuchungen zu Theorie und Praxis der paulinischen Mission (WMANT 50; Neukirchen-Vluyn: Neukirchener, 1979)

My understanding is that Epaphras is a possible contraction of Epaphroditus, but that this does not mean that Phil 2.25 and Col 4.12 are the same person.  Paul's language about them in each case suggests that they are a members  of the Philippian and Colossian communities respectively.

Incidentally, there is an inscription at Philippi mentioning the name Epaphras, but I doubt if we can read anything into it.

Hope this helps
