Two responses. The question about Adam is not as cut and dried or self
evident as Liz's
"of course" would have us believe. See the discussion of this by von Rad in
his
commentary on Genesis.

Second, C-P is not the place to discuss this particular issue. So unless it
can be
brought within the purview of Paul's first Adam/Last Adam theology or some
other aspect
of matters Pauline, please refrain from posting further on it.
