Toshiba Satellite 220CDS, 133MHz, 1.3GB 16MB RAM, USB, has 'SBPro' (ESS?) sound and chips 6554 video. 1.3GB. Sound works nicely.

Hitachi 133MHz 32MB RAM, USB, 1.3GB, has unknown sound (four ports and a vol dial) and chips 6554 video. No FD so not easy to test sound (plus it crashes HWINFO).

Gateway2000 Solo, 200MHz, 48MB RAM, has Neomagic Magicgraph 128XD video (different from the DELL 128 V/ZV) which crashes Xvesa the same way as the DELL but works fine with the SVGA X server. Don't know the sound yet, but four ports like the Hitachi.

Avoid the DELL (or the neomagic chip in it) unless you want to use vesafb and xfbdev and /dev/fd0.
