Can a novice like me, who just wants to practice reading correct biblical
Hebrew, get a text somewhere (elec. or print) that has the mistakes in BHS or
some other good text corrected, at least according to a scholar's best
attempt?
Thanks.  Ed Walkwitz

Dear Isaac,

I hope, you're not being serious. By "there" do you mean ancient Sodom or
modern Israel? I haven't seen the movie, but it got terrible reviews in the
Israeli press, as a failed attempt at social satire. Nobody, including the
producers, claims that it represents anything historical.

I have not read the learned paper by Dr David Elgavish but I saw last night
the Israeli movie ZOHI SDOM, which gave me an excellent insight into life
there.
