Jim:

Not only are you ignorant of the language, an ignorance you have shown in
past messages, but now you show you are ignorant even of the texts you claim
to parse! I didn’t think I would have to do your homework for you. How could
you have missed passages like Genesis 17:15–22 where it very clearly states
that Isaac, not Ishmael, was to inherit Abraham’s covenant? A covenant, by
the way, that included the promise of the land?

This is a bunch of hogwash! I’ll leave it to others who are better than I at
explaining it to tell you why.

Irrelevant claim.

This is irrelevant for reasons I posted in previous messages.

False, mentioned in previous messages.

Your comment that Midian = Mitani is completely off the wall, as there are
historical records (secular as you like to call them) placing Midian
somewhat to the south, but mainly to the east of the Promised Land, largely
in northern Saudi Arabia. You should have done your homework before making
such an absurd claim.

When will you acknowledge the archeological and historical records that the
Negev, hence also the neighboring Sinai, was a prairie with patches of even
forests in ancient times, and only later did it become the desolate desert
that we see today?

Talk about sloppiness! This statement throws together different ideas that
need to be evaluated verse by verse. Don’t you remember I said that in a
previous message?

propagandist trick that by repeating a claim over and over again, you can
get people to believe the propaganda? Is that the correct meaning? There are
reasons from within the text to question that.
