I looked at the two examples.

One thing that comes to mind, I noticed that both occurrences are found in
Chronicles: could this be an example of early Mishnaic Hebrew? This was the
last book of Tanakh that was written, in about 400 BC or slightly later. Its
writing style is noticeably different from the earlier books. Was such a mem
common in Mishnaic Hebrew?
