Really? This is not true of Catholics or Anglicans, who do read the book of Sirach as part of their official Scriptures but consider it to have a lower or less canonical status than "the Tanakh as accepted by non-Christian Jews". Nor is it true of any Protestant Christians who happen to read Sirach for any reason. It may be true of Orthodox Christians, but I don't think they outnumber Catholics etc, certainly not vastly.
