I suggest you refer to "Sefer haberitot" Hebrew-English Bible (1996),
which was published by Bible Society in Israel(Jerusalem). This Bible
translates "the word" as "ha-davar". However, ha-davar can also mean
"the thing"or something.
Chemorion.

I would like to find out how the Greek Logos is written/ spelled in
Hebrew, but have been unable to do so. Finding a Bible that translates
John 1:1 (In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and
the Word was God) is easy enough to do, but I don't read Hebrew, and can't
pick out which word is the "Word". Can anyone out there help?
