| Now it makes more sense why I didn't immediately grasp Robin's meaning. I'm Jewish--but I have Typical Girl blood! Since I've trying to keep track of tributes to Ari and The Slits online, I've actually been thinking that it's be good that they'd be collected somehow. So your idea, Dina, of an online tribute by our group seems quite fitting--especially in the world we now live in--and I think that including links to what is already online via various sources would be appreciated. It'd be a shame for all of these to be "lost" in the noise of the Internet. Please put me down for helping out with this in whatever way I can. (I'm not in Colorado but am a good online chatter!) I'm a fully trained copyeditor and/or proofreader, so I can certainly help make whatever we do be error-free. Still, a live musical event seems very appropriate too, since I believe Ari was all about the moment. One kind of tribute certainly doesn't preclude another and, perhaps, we could dovetail the release of the e-zine with a live event. It'd be easy to stream the event live (as well as archive it) via one of a number of free services now available. Long live Typical Girls, Lydia On Oct 28, 2010, at 12:04 PM, Dina Hornreich wrote:
