Can the existing data be imported into 'our' wiki? it would seem a grate
shame to waste the effort and time that has so far gone into creating
what is there.
Are you the admin of that permawiki? If so you ought to have access to
commands that allow downloading
of all the data, and its structure, in the wiki. Since it runs Mediawiki then
it could be imported directly into our
install of Mediawiki. Otherwise, create a little intranet on your hard drive
for it and download the entire permawiki
into it, saving each page, graphics and all. This might be done with Filezilla. It will automatically download an antire
website and you can tell it how many directory levels to go and whether to observe external links and symbolic links.
