Does anyone have any suggestions?

Here
are more suggestions: ginseng, quality multivitamins for women,
homeopathic remedies. Also: gelatin; make and eat a lot of jello or just
take a package and dump it into a glass of juice and down it. I used to
play Flamenco guitar and my right hand fingernails were very important,
especially the thumb. Gelatin increases and strengthens the nails.
Looking at my nails now I see that my right thumb nail is thicker than
my left one. We have Knox Gelatin here in the US and an equivalent
product should be available where you are. Its tasteless more or less
but is slimy/gelatinous/grainy in texture; mixed with a good juice might
make it easy to drink. Sesame seeds, untoasted, ground into a paste
(like Halvah) in a hand crank grain mill or a blender or seed mill
(coffee grinder) might actually be a remedy; sesame is a food high in
nutritional quality and protein content. An idea: mix some sesame paste,
coconut milk or ground coconut, juice, maybe a little honey with the
raw dried gelatin powder in a drink. This should be palatable. You could
also add some ground flaxseed meal in case it will help your nails and I
have no idea about this - it is a laxative too so don't add too much -
let the whole glassful of mixture sit for a few minutes before drinking
so that the flaxseed will absorb liquid and become gelatinous (not
unpleasantly so). As for frequency try incrementing dosage in stages
while monitoring effect on your hair. I will bet it works. Make
different mixtures to see what tastes best. You could turn this into a
breakfast drink. For that matter you could also grind some sunflower
seeds into a paste and add them; they are high in protein. So, you get
protein combining benefits too by adding an assortment of seeds (and
nuts too) to your gelatin drink. Soy products? tofu, tempeh, soy milk,
also ground flaxseed meal, oatmeal and oat bran, ground coconut,
molasses, nuts, seeds especially sesame seeds.
