| Deb, The berries are a bit of an acquired taste, as they have a bitter/sour skin (hard to really describe). I like them and they are very healthy, being very high in lycopene. Perhaps others on the list can suggest ways of using them in quantities. Here they are a nibble food. I did hear two years ago from someone that wanted to try making wine from them. If they are invasive here, it is a slow invasion. Also heard that the young shoots are edible and leaves can be used for tea ( not sure and don't remember the source). Also heard that the seeds can be toasted and the fruit dried, but haven't tried any of those either. John --- On Sun, 10/10/10, Deb S <debs913@gmail.com> wrote:
