I think this is the fruit I found on an un named tree in Augusta, Ga.
Fruits were large, about 1# each. The tree was at least 15' tall, upright,
oval canopy.
I Cooked it like applesauce; it was good.
Can anyone tell me if it has any fireblight resistance?

Are the fruit somewhat like fruiting quince? (Which I really like.) Are they
nice and sour and fragrant?
