Correction-by NO (below) I meant N. My spell
checker got me in trouble. Instead of hitting the ignore button, I was
hitting the change button, changing N to NO. Either that or I've been
breathing too much Nitrous Oxide N2O.

Subject: Re: [NAFEX] help with peach problem
identification Thanks Ed,
I looked pretty close and didn't see any
eggs. I assume they can be seen with the naked eye?
In terms of extension growth, the early season
shoots were the most vigorous and had hardly any lesions (3 to 4' of
growth). Some of the later (branched) growth was much less
vigorous (grew maybe 8" or less) and had (by far) the most
lesions. As a general rule the more vigorous trees have this problem
much less. We had a water problem last summer. June was a
very wet month (12" of rain inside 4 days) and I watered too much after
that. I think I remember too much water inhibits NO uptake, so maybe
that's it. I've never put much NO on except what is contained in
Phosphorous formulations. About 50lbs on my one acre last
year.
