I know of several trees producing nuts in the area of Boone NC, a few show
signs of the blight. The few nuts that are produced (trees are small) are
planted, and location has been given to ACF for collection. It is always a
treat to find such a tree.

If you have an American chestnut that is producing nuts, please plant
them, don't eat them. So few of these trees ever survive to produce
nuts - yours must be exceptionally blight resistant.
