I keep a small research library for fruit of various types. One area I
need to improve is materials relating to temperate fruits. If you still
have the magazines would you consider donating them to me? At this time
my budget is almost nil and I cannot offer payment other than postage. I
can also offer a subscription to Tropical Visions, which is our new
electronic rare fruit publication.
You can see my website and get an idea as to what I am doing on the web
at the site at: http://www.quisqualis.com
There are also links where you can see the first issues of Tropical Visions.
I have a general question. Is there any interest in a nearly complete set
of POMONA from issue 1-October 1967 to Volume 34 issue #1? The only issues
missing are Vol. 19 #4 and Volume 36 #4. These two issues are probably
mislaid somewhere in my house, but I can't put my finger on them at the
moment. I also have Index 1 (covers issue 1 through vol. 15) and the index
for volumes 16 to 20. There are also three special editions that cover the
first three years. There are a few duplicates in the set. All of the issues
are in very nice shape. A few of them have some writing on the covers. As
far as I know there are no missing or torn pages.
I am in the process of moving to Australia and need to reduce my
possessions to a manageable level.
