Thanks, we've been thinking about that. The spring isn't hard to find,
a small stream starts out of it. The water is a problem for several
neighbors and the discussion has been going on for a couple of years
now. One neighbor stands in the way.

Mike, I had an idea, might be of some use. If you can find where the
spring is, visually or with the help of a dowser, perhaps you could dig
out a deep hole, which might become a small seasonal pond and
(particularly if it is in a low area) might serve as a sump that would
drain the rest of your property. I believe I read in one of Louis
Bromfield's books about using that method to drain wet fields. Just a
