terms "green wood budding" and "green wood grafting" has turned up a wealth

New shoots grow from the buds at the base of the leaf petioles.
I've had better success with 'active' pecan/hickory wood, doing 4-flap
grafts, just like I do with larger dormant scions, than I have with
greenwood budding. Probably an indictment of my technique more than
anything else, though.
