I started this discussion and suggested PDF files, but I really meant any
electronic format for POMONA. I think the advantage of PDF is that it is
independent of type of computer or operating system. PDF readers are
available for most any computer system, PC, Macintosh, Unix, etc.

One advantage of PDF I've seen is that the format of the printed version can
be kept intact in the PDF. I get HortIdeas as a PDF file, and it is
identical to the paper version - print it out and you couldn't tell the
difference.
