| I had thought of that but didn't think that would be acceptable. My QH mare has been ridden in parades etc. My Arab has not. I was in the pasture one day collecting some ferns along the stream. The two horses always follow me around. I wanted to see what they would do if I shook my plastic grocery bag at them. My QH backed off quickly and my Arab no so much. He came right back to smell it and I shook it again. He was just curious and she didn't want anything to do with it. I have always preferred Arabs as the ones I have had, always bonded with me and pay much closer attention. They listen better. He learns faster and even though he is an Arab, he is not high strung. TY that was a good piece of info and I am happy to be reading these new pieces that are coming through. I don't know how many newbies are here that have an interest in MSAR, but I joined this group to try to learn things and this is becoming really great for me!! deb --- On Tue, 10/28/08, Una Smith <una.smith@att.net> wrote: From: Una Smith <una.smith@att.net> |
