My report was backed by references. I have about 23 in fact. I have not referred to something that was not true. However, I was under the impression through a referenced article that the US Congress was or had passed a Federal mandating the transportation of horses and double decker trailers. I will double check that one. I do know that PA, NY and most of the N.E states make it illegal, but with the new outcry for anti slaughter there was a big push by the Humane Society about shipping because of the conditions and length of time to Mexico and Canada. I thought it had passed.
Sincerely
Teri Oliver

Teri, this topic is rather off topic for MSAR-Riders, but you will find a lot of informed readers on rec.equestrian (a Usenet newsgroup, but available also on the web and by e-mail via Google Groups). Please don't recycle stuff you read elsewhere that is not backed by references, and when you read stuff that does give references please be sure to read the references yourself.
