Yesterday, a segment on CNBC covered just this issue (forced car retention
/repair and the implications). They said the 'sweet spot' for pl;aces like
auto-zone, NAPA, and car -repair chains would start in abiout a year and last
for , probably two to three years. The implication is that 'new- car'
maunfacturers and dealers would be in deep water for the next five years
(seven years from the beginning of the recession).
