That's the name of the game now, smaller sizes and slight price
increases. It's been happening for a while, amazing though, that a lot
of people still don't notice.
I pop popcorn the old fashioned way in a deep pot. My aunt brought me
a box of microwave popcorn some time ago. I popped some last week. You
know, put it in the microwave and mash the "popcorn" button. I burnt
two bags before I realized that the amount of popcorn in the bag is
less, so the preset time is no longer valid.
Bob wrote about peppers. I always see them expensive in the store, IMO
all the time. Red and yellow ones are really pricey. I could never
bring myself to pay a dollar for a pepper. I cut them into strips and
freeze them in season to use for cooking.
