I don't think the U.S. is more peaceful than other countries. We certainly have more violence, citizen on citizen, than most other countries without "war". What the U.S. does, generally, is to take its violence elsewhere. And, don't you consider the bullying the U.S. does to be a form of violence?

Just because someone lives in a generally peaceful society (and I think--
it is all relative-the US is certainly more peaceful than Somalia at
present) doesn't mean they aren't biologically capable of violence.
