My knowledge and experience of world cultures is limited, so any theory I
come up with would be extrapolated from my American-ness. Like you, Lynn,
I've never been in a physical fight--at least not since I was a toddler.
But my lack of desire to fight may be a luxury based on the fact that I live
in relative comfort, safety and plenty. I think that agression would be a
tactic I would consider only after many others failed, but if the health and
safety of innocents were at stake, I might consider a violent act. In that
sense, I think agression is part of human makeup.
