If you bought a bunch of fertilizer and diesel fuel, it would be noticed
by the feds.
In an agricultural area? Both can be bought anonymously. Both are commonly
bought in quantity here. I could take all my gas cans into town tomorrow and
fill them with diesel, pay cash, never give my name. How could that be
noticed when at least half the people here have diesel trucks and/or
tractors? I don't use fertilizer for any purpose, so I don't know the
quanities needed, but anyone could walk into the Agway and buy bags and bags
here without raising an eyebrow or giving their name. Or a few at each Agway
and attract even less notice. I don't know how that could be traced except
after the fact.
If you bought a bunch of sudafed, it would be noticed by the locals.
THAT would be noticed, but as you say, at the local (like drugstore clerk)
level. Meth labs are one of our biggest cottage industries here. Is sudfed
the one they use in meth? I'm out of the loop on that.
