Do you have to declare a party for the general election? The only
reason for that would be to vote in the correct primary. In the
general election, they (more or less, depending on your state) just
ascertain that you are who you say you are and then give you a ballot.

"Neither"
"So you are independent."
"No."
"You have to be either Dem, Rep, or independent."
"I'm not. I'm a registered Libertarian."
"You can't register as Libertarian."
"I know. That's why this is a fascist two party election."
