Semanics ... probably. The dealer does not HOLD the title, it creates (or
initiates) the title in the state where the vehicle is sold. Not the same
thing as the ownership title the financial institution buyer holds. That is,
the
financial institution can under the right circumstances assert its ownership
over the vehicle.
