If it is untrue, we will never know it, the tv stations reporting this
garbage never
publicize retractions. All he did was ask a simple question, he didn't rant
and rave
or call names or get ugly. Our media at work. If he asked McCain a pointy
question
the media would be following McCain around hounding him for an answer, not
the plumber.

I felt kind of sorry for the poor guy after the stuff began to hit the
fan, er, Internet. I'm sure he really didn't know what national
publicity could do to a guy. I'm of two mind here (some of you
probably think other things about the state of my mind), but it's kind
of frightening that you can't make a comment without your life story
being broadcast (and I just heard that he may have had the police
called on him several times because of domestic violence, which
especially if it isn't true, would be devastating to most people). So
far as we know, the guy is just a guy, not a public figure. All this
publicity could complicate his life for some time (even to exceed the
end of the political season).
