After refinement this could evolve into a diy 'Homestead 100 Thing List,'
items generally needed to survive on the homestead.
You mentioned four seasons, so I'll begin with a woodstove for winter's
warmth, assuming the 5 acre plot has a wood lot. Or would you include that
as part of the house? Followed by a chainsaw and an axe, but the chainsaw
uses gas so guess that's out. A two-person saw? Sharpening tools?
